Sage Qualifications Learning Portal Queries

1. I cannot log into Sage Qualifications Portal
Please use an incognito window (this is important) and reset your password, Forgotten password | sagequalifications
Please check your junk folder for the password if you do not receive it.

2. I do not understand the AutoMarker results.
You will find information about how the AutoMarker works in the Introduction unit of your course and you can find a Helpsheet here.

3. Where do I get the password for my assessment?
Please contact your provider (the provider is the organisation where you purchased your course) or tutor for this information

4. I have entered the Enable Access to Assessment code without the password, what do I do?
This will now require resetting to enable you to restart your assessment. This is a manual process for which there is a small Administration Charge. Please click the link to make the payment

5. What do I do if I run out of time during my assessment and have not submitted any data to the AutoMarker
You must resit the assessment as you will fail if you do not submit data to the AutoMarker

6. Where do I find the learning materials for my course?
The learning materials can be found on the Sage Qualifications Portal

7. Where do I access the computerised accounting or payroll software to use for my course?
If you are using Sage Business Cloud software you can find the login to the software here. You may want to bookmark this webpage to save time logging in. If you are using Sage 50 Accounting software, you need to download the installation file for this from the Sage Qualifications Portal to install the Sage 50 Accounting software onto your computer.

8. The software is not appearing on my Dashboard
The software is not live on your Dashboard unless the Let’s Get Started Quiz is completed and passed. It is live for 30 days only after which it is no longer available. If you have exceeded the 30 days limit, you will need to email support@sagequalifications.com to ask them to put it back for you. Please allow at least 3 working days for this to take place.

9. My course is no longer on my Dashboard.
Your course access is for 90 or 180 days from the date of first registration. (Please see your course for information about the study period) In some instance you can extend this, please contact your provider for more information regarding this process.

Sage Business Cloud Software Queries

10. My course provider is not listed on the drop-down list for registering for the software
Please refer to the instructions in your course for Sage Business Cloud Software registration, this is a PDF in the company details area.

11. I am having issues with the Verification Code for Sage Business Cloud
Please find solutions to your issue here: I am not receiving the Verification Code for Sage Business Cloud.

12. I cannot log into Sage Business Cloud Software
Please find solutions to your issue here: Logging into your Sage Business Cloud product. Many issues are resolved by using an Incognito Window, we advise that you use an Incognito Window in the first instance.

13. I am having issues with the Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for Sage Business Cloud

14. Sage Software has the following error message: You cannot access this page - You may need to ask your admin for permission to view this page 

This occurs if Sage is open in too many tabs or there has been too many incorrect login attempts to the site. Please close all instances of Sage Business Cloud down and any related open tabs. Restart the browser in an incognito window and try the process again.

15. I want to log into Sage Business Cloud Software but cannot do that from the Sage Qualifications portal
You cannot log into Sage Business Cloud software from the Sage Qualifications portal, they are separate applications and websites. You must use the Sage website to log into your Sage Business Cloud software.

16. I have entered the incorrect business name for my Sage Business Cloud Software can I change this?
It is not possible to change the name on your Sage Business Cloud software product once you have set this up, however, it will not affect your progress or your marks. You can continue with the incorrect name.

17. I want to reset my Sage Business Cloud data to clear all the entries

18. I have logged into Sage Business Cloud software, and it is asking me to Subscribe
You have exceeded the time allowed on your software installation and will need to ask your provider for more information. If your software says you are in Trial mode – this is normal, please proceed until the time on the Trial period has expired.

19. I am doing a second qualification and need a new instance of Sage Business Cloud software
You must use a different email address for any subsequent instance of Sage Business Cloud software, the information for this is on the portal, on your course page. You can find more information about this here: Second Email Address for New Instance of Sage Business Cloud.

20. I have an error message when using Sage Business Cloud software
Please close all windows, use a different browser and an incognito window and try again.  Using a different browser and an incognito window will fix most error messages in Sage Business Cloud software

Sage 50 Software Queries

21. If I have a full version of Sage 50 Software can I install the training version onto the same computer?
No you are not able to use the training version of the software on the same computer where the full version of the software is installed. Please use a different device for the training version.

22. Can I install Sage 50 Software onto a MAC Book or Chrome Book?
Sage 50 software requires a windows operating system. Please find more information about this here.

23. I cannot open the Start File
You cannot open the Start File. This is a data only file and must be downloaded and saved as a file where it can be Restored into the software – please see the learning materials for more information on how to do this.

General Queries

24. I don’t know how to obtain an Incognito Window
On your computer or device, open a webpage using Chrome, to the top right of the address bar there are three dots – click and choose New Incognito window. If you are using Edge, click your right mouse on the top bar, just beneath the Home symbol and choose Open InPrivateWindow. You can Google how to do this if you need further help.

25. How do I get tutor support for my course?
Please ask your tutor or provider for information about this. Please note in some instances the course is sold as a self-study course and tutor support is not available. You should ask your provider if you need more information with this issue.
